Russell Deards joins DSG as General Counsel and Company Secretary, bringing over three decades of legal experience to the business. A qualified solicitor since 1991, Russell has held senior legal and governance roles at Barratt Developments, Henry Boot Plc, DX Group Plc and the Highbourne Group. His deep expertise in construction & engineering law and corporate governance will be pivotal as DSG continues to strengthen its compliance and risk management frameworks.
Alongside Russell, Michelle McLaughlin has been appointed Director of Finance. Michelle brings a wealth of financial leadership experience across some of the UK’s most respected brands, including Sealskinz, Clancy Group, Ted Baker, Monarch Airlines, BHP Billiton, TUI Travel and InBetvo. Her appointment will help further professionalise DSG’s financial operations and underpin our long-term strategy for sustainable growth.
