Danny Sullivan

Building Futures, Together.

About us

Since 1986, The Danny Sullivan Group has transformed from a traditional labour provider into the UK's leading workforce solutions partner for infrastructure.

Our journey reflects decades of strategic growth, unwavering commitment to our people, and a shared vision of building futures together. We've transformed thousands of lives while helping build the backbone of UK infrastructure.

Our story is written in the career journeys of our people and the lasting impact we've made on the UK together.

Building futures

Behind every motorway, bridge, and development that shapes modern Britain are the skilled hands and brilliant minds we've nurtured.

Lives Transformed, Futures Built

From apprentices who started with us as teenagers to industry leaders who've spent decades growing with our company, we've witnessed remarkable personal transformations that mirror the infrastructure we help create.

Our people have bought their first homes, supported their families, sent children to university, and built secure futures – all while mastering trades that will serve them for life. These aren't just career progressions; they're life-changing journeys we've been privileged to support.

From Foundations to Futures

What began as a family-managed business has grown alongside the people who make us who we are. We've watched labourers become site managers, apprentices become specialists, and ambitious individuals become business leaders. Their growth has driven our evolution into a comprehensive workforce solutions provider that understands the profound connection between personal development and professional excellence.

Our journey

Our story begins in the 1970s, when a young Danny O’Sullivan left his small hometown in south-west Ireland ready to take on London’s construction sector. Arriving in Kilburn, he stepped onto busy building sites and worked his way up, laying the foundations for what would one day become the Danny Sullivan Group.

1986 - Founded

Born in the heart of Kilburn and Cricklewood, against the vibrant backdrop of 1980s Britain, the Danny Sullivan Group was founded in 1986. After years working in construction, Danny recognised a growing need for skilled, reliable labour. He set out to build a company that would meet that need while creating lasting opportunities for others like him.

1986

1990s - Pioneering progress

As the UK infrastructure boomed in the 90s, the Danny Sullivan Group set itself apart by focusing on building people, not just filling roles. We pioneered a new standard in labour supply based on respect, reliability, and real career progression. By partnering with major contractors on high-profile projects, we helped redefine what it means to be a labourer - offering stable work, quality training, and clear career paths.

1990

2012 - A key partner in one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects

As Crossrail’s tunnels took shape beneath London, the Danny Sullivan Group was proud to supply the skilled teams making it happen. Behind every drill and beam were people whose dedication and expertise helped bring this life-changing project closer to reality — building not just infrastructure, but futures across London.

2012

2019 - A key partner in one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects

The Danny Sullivan Group continued to support the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects - from HPC Marine Works to Mendip Cable and Littlebrook Power Station. Behind the scenes, our people brought expertise, commitment, and pride to every site.
