We’re incredibly proud to share that Andrew Sweet, Danny Sullivan Group’s Head of Commercial, Compliance and Change, has been named runner-up in the Best AI Adoption category at the Access Amplified AI Awards 2026.
The category recognises AI put to practical use. That is exactly how we approach it at DSG: not as an experiment or a shortcut, but as part of how we operate as a business.
Over the past year, Andrew has designed and built Opfora, our in-house commercial intelligence platform. Developed around real business challenges, Opfora supports our work across tender responses, evidence checking, contract review and commercial risk.
For tender responses, Opfora draws on existing knowledge and previous answers to help prepare drafts, with sources visible so that information can be checked and verified. It also highlights where supporting evidence is needed, helping our teams produce accurate, well-evidenced responses that are ready for review before submission.
Opfora also supports pre-signature contract review, bringing key terms, potential gaps and commercial risks to the surface early. This helps our team ask the right questions, challenge assumptions and have more informed conversations before agreements are signed.
What sets the platform apart is the discipline behind it. Opfora is designed to find the evidence, highlight risk and support better-informed decisions, while keeping our people accountable for the decisions themselves.
Opfora is one part of a wider programme at DSG. Working alongside our partners, we have also designed and built bespoke AI systems to support worker classification and contract compliance, areas where our clients rightly expect the highest standards.
These systems strengthen the checks our teams carry out, helping us apply them consistently and maintain a clear record of how decisions are reached. By combining AI with human oversight, we are building more robust processes, clearer audit trails and a stronger foundation for commercial decision-making.
Security and confidentiality remain central to how we operate. Information handled by DSG is managed securely and confidentially in line with GDPR requirements, supported by our Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
For Andrew, the value of AI lies in solving genuine problems, not using technology for its own sake. What began as an idea to work smarter has become a working platform that helps our teams find information faster, work more efficiently and identify potential issues before they become bigger challenges.
Being named runner-up in the Best AI Adoption category is fantastic recognition of Andrew’s work and reflects DSG’s commitment to applying AI thoughtfully, responsibly and practically across our business.
Forty years building Britain's workforce. Now building the tools to do it better. We have never been more ambitious about what comes next.
Congratulations, Andrew, on this fantastic achievement! ☘️
