C-ILM Level 3
The C-ILM Level 3 Certificate is a nationally recognised leadership qualification. This course will teach you the leadership and management skills required to help you better lead your teams. You will identify the strengths and weaknesses of both you and your company and develop action plans and tools to improve performance, avoid mistakes of the trade and, learn what makes a good manager. The C-ILM addresses the massive leadership skills gap in our industry and educates people on how to create high-performing, engaged and retained teams to deliver projects.
The C-ILM Level 3 in Leadership & Management Part 1 and 2 Award and Certificate qualification is an entry level qualification for anyone with management responsibilities but no formal qualification. It is particularly suited to up and coming or practising team leaders/managers seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures.
These are non-technical qualifications that are aimed at up and coming, or current team leaders, supervisors and managers looking to gain a thorough understanding of leadership and management principles to effectively lead, supervise and safely manage staff.
This course is for those currently working in the construction industry, either in a management role or are actively working to become a manager in their chosen specialism. For example, trades moving into supervisory roles, gangers, foremen, engineers, operations personnel, project managers and senior leaders.
The minimum entry is basic understanding of spoken and written English.
This course is suitable for all levels.
3 – 18 months depending on your choice of flexible learning.
On completion of the course the C-ILM Level 3 in Leadership & Management Part 1 and 2 certificate qualification is awarded.
