Danny Sullivan Group has contributed outstanding skilled labour to almost the whole Elizabeth line, from Reading and Heathrow to Shenfield and Abbey Wood. We filled 100% of all labour requests within agreed timescales, enabling the work schedule to progress as planned. In delivering this success, our team has managed multiple stakeholders and showed excellent capability in prioritising labour requests to satisfy our client’s needs. At peak times, we have supplied 280 operatives across a 24/7 shift pattern, including the following main job types: Concrete workers, Foremen Scaffolders, Shuttering Carpenters, Supervisors, Plant Operators, Gangers, Steel Fixers, Slinger, Signallers, Van Drivers and Trade Supervisors.
Some of our key projects across Crossrail included: ATC Systemwide, Abbeywood, C405 Paddington Station, C411 Bond Street, C412 Bond Street, C415 Connaught Tunnel, C512 Whitechapel, C530 Farringdon Tunnels, Crossrail Anglia, Old Oak Common, Tottenham Court Road, Woolwich etc.
Deploying resources efficiently in response to short notice bookings
We operated a bespoke resource management strategy to coordinate the effective redeployment of resources from other Crossrail contracts to the C610 contract. Tracking resources proactively meant we have been able to cater for short notice bookings from different sections of the C610 project.
Guaranteeing client satisfaction through an incentivised workforce
ATC have attributed our success to the high levels of staff retention we achieve. We provide effective incentive schemes and recognise the importance of fatigue management. We adjust resources to minimise the number of 12-hour shifts being worked, ensuring safety and productivity targets were achieved.
We established a staff incentive scheme where employees were awarded monthly for excellence, safety, and going the extra mile. We provide ongoing occupational initiatives including mental health campaigns and our innovative employee champion training developed in partnership with the MIND charity.
